Mixed Sprouted Bean Soup

Ingredients:

2 tbsp olive oil
1 Cup chopped onions
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 Pound dried red kidney beans, rinsed and soaked over nigh
4 cup chicken/vegetable broth
2 bay leaves
1 Piece cinnamon stick
Salt to taste
Hot Sauce to taste

Direction:
Heat oil in a large heavy saucepan. Add onions and saute until golden brown. Stir in garlic and saute for few minutes. Add soaked bean, broth to the onion mix along with bay leaves, cinnamon, salt, cumin powder, hot pepper sauce. Cook covered over low heat for two hours until beans are tender. When all the liquid is simmered off, and the bean is thick gravy, it is ready to be served with rice.
